I am the new lead research software developer for the TorchBrain library, an end-to-end python framework for building deep learning models and training them on neural data at scale. My position is in Dr. Blake Richards's lab at Mila.
I am strongly committed to advancing open science in the field, and as such have contributed to several projects, including Neuromatch resources and the Allen Institute's OpenScope initiative. See my projects and our recent perspective paper discussing challenges and solutions to advancing open science in neurophysiology.
My PhD research, also in the LiNC Lab, investigated the role of distal apical dendrites in sensory processing. I also completed a PhD postdoc with Dr. Claudia Clopath at Imperial College London on predictive learning with apical dendrites in the hippocampus.
I am fluent in English and French, and proficient in German.
