I am a research scientist in Dr. Blake Richards' lab, the LiNC Lab based at Mila, developing open source tools for training deep learning models on neural data at large scales. Our current focus is the TorchBrain library.
I am strongly committed to advancing open science in the field, and have contributed to several projects, including Neuromatch resources and the Allen Institute's OpenScope initiative. See my projects and our recent perspective paper discussing challenges and solutions to advancing open science in neurophysiology.
My PhD research, also in the LiNC Lab, investigated the role of distal apical dendrites in sensory processing. I also completed a PhD postdoc with Dr. Claudia Clopath at Imperial College London on predictive learning with apical dendrites in the hippocampus.
I am fluent in English and French, and proficient in German.
